Retro chic

Ovaj post je inspirisan modom iz 50-ih godina prošlog veka, inače periodom šarenih džempera od kašmira, velikih midi suknji, kožnih jakni, visokih repova i marama oko glava. Prva asocijacija na sve do sada navedeno je svakako jedan od najpoznatijih svetskih mjuzikla "Brilijantin". Svi smo gledali ovaj film, ali moj predlog je da ako ste u mogućnosi odgledate i mjuzikl, jer je potpuno drugačije i bar je na mene ostavio jači utisak. Pa ovo je moj pokušaj da prenesem to vreme u ovaj naš današnji svet i ovo bi bila ta retro kombinacija, a vi procenite da li sam uspela. 
Po čemu je ovaj post još poseban je to da  njemu nosim vintage, teksas prsluk, koji sam napravila od mamine stare, teksas haljine. Kao što vidite obožavam da "kreativišem" i očekujem vaše komentare, ali i kritike ukoliko vam se nešto ne dopada, jer mi to veoma znači.

This post is inspired by 1950's fashion, the period of colorful cashmere sweaters, midi-skirts, leather jackets, pony tails and scarfs worn as a hairband. First that comes to your mind is probably one of the best musicals in the world "Grease". We have all seen this movie, but my suggestion is that you go and see this musical in theatre, because it's more powerful and it will leave better impression on you for sure. So this is me trying to portray this period and showing you how you something from 60 years ago can be wearable today.
Second thing that I want to share with you is the fact that this denim, vintage vest of mine is mom's old dress, that I cropped and made something totally different. Decide whether you like it or not, and please let me know because it means to me a lot.

University: Chapter I

Povratak iz Madrida (u realnost). Polazak na fakultet, upoznavanje sa novim ljudima, navikavanje na novi sistem, zbunjenost, strah i stres. Pa na svu tu muku testovi za voznju, koje ne znam kako ću položiti (držite mi palčeve) - dodatni stres. Ali ubedjena sam da je to samo naporan period koji me je stigao nakon tromesečnog uživanja i potrebno je da se polako navikavam na obaveze. Pored celog haosa stižem da trkenm do grada na kratko da se vidim sa društvom i ispričamo prve utiske sa faksa. 

Ovu "dosadnu" krem crnu kombinaciju razbijam novim pink džemperom koji sam kupila u Madridu. Kada sam ga ugledala na ofingeru ovo je kombinacija koju sam u sekundi zamislila u glavi, ali i mali milion drugih koje ćete imati prilike da vidite na blogu.

Coming back from Madrid (to reality). First day of university, meeting new people, getting used to new system, mixed feelings of confusion and fear, stress. And on top of all that a driving exam on Friday. Pretty sure you don't want to be in my shoes. But I think of it as one big obligation coming after three months of careless life. I manage to deal with all of it and go and see my friends, have lunch with them and chat about impressions from Madrid and first university days.

On this "boring" black and cream combination I add this beautiful pink sweater and everything is different. When I saw it hanging in the store, this is the combination that poped-up in my head and I knew that I must have it in my closet.
